Just because someone is of a different faith.. does not mean they are not one of G-ds children.
Perhaps he has a plan for them.
Not everything happens overnight.
Id go and visit, and perhaps religion wouldn't come up at all.

I'd gladly accept the invitation and perhaps bring over a bunt cake. Kidding about the cake. Seriously though, we are called to love everyone just as Christ loved despite what they believe in. It's not our place to condemn them nor judge them for their beliefs. Furthermore, the Lord says we are to, "Love your neighbor as yourself." By applying this principal we are respecting our neighbors and glorifying God all at once. How cool is that?!?!?!

My athiest neighbors are having a cook-out this Saturday and just invited me along with several other Christian couples, one other unbeliever/believer couple and one agnostic man.
We are neighbors and we talk about lots of things besides "religion, or the lack thereof", especially our lawn watering system, where we went on vacation..., and I THINK they are going to show us their "trip to China and Japan" slides, and I am fascinated.
How's that? By the way, they came to our Christmas party for the couples in the neighborhood.

Depends on why they invited me ;)
I have no qualms shooting the breeze with people of any faith. Even for a potluck dinner or game night. Ditto to witness most religious ceremonies (as long as I didn't have to actively do anything against my own beliefs).
I would feel a bit ackward if they tried to convert me the first time they invited me to their home, though.

Hey Spaced guy,
i'd go over. Jesus summed up the purpose of the Christian's life in two simple commandments: Love God and Love people. People are people and it's always great to meet new people.
i've quite a lot of non-Christian friends and that's wonderful.
Kindly,
Nickster

Why wouldn't we? Is there some rule about only hanging out with other christians that I don't know about? Jesus hung out with quite a variety of people, there's no reason we shouldn't.

Uhh... What kind of question is this? Go over, duh! I doesn't make a shred of difference what religion people are, There are nice people and jerks in every religion. And if it makes you feel akward, just steer away from that subject. Trust me, I am a Christian with an aethiestic neighbor, and we're best friends.

Go over and do whatever. Unless it went against my morals. But I would have no problem with them because of their religion.....
