Read, read, read! It's the best way to keep the mind stimulated and alert. Crossword puzzles are also a good source of stimulation. Have you tried Soduko? Pop quizzes are great too.
Music is also helpful, depending on what you listen to. Last, but not least.......good conversation.

i can tell u the perfect source of brain food.....Chess...you really have to think about it for a second...i discovered it back in high school(the theory i mean) but have been playing since fourth grade...u see...once u play and become good at it..you notice that u treasure every move that u make...every piece has a soul...and it hurts to lose even the weakest piece... but u also notice that u pick up a new talent while u get better at the game...the ability to predict ever possible outcome...so that even when something has to go bad...and i meant when things have to go bad...and u have to lose a piece...u r already prepared for the next move without having to worry your self on "now what do i do"...that stress is taken away...cause u are well prepared...and it seems like this same sense of the game carries over to real life situations....i don't want to bore u to death...but i just wanted to share with you that little bit of info
