I bought a CNG car and want to put a sign on it that says "No Gasoline Car". Even though gasoline is not a gas, is CNG a gasoline?

Congrats on getting a CNG car!

Right, gasoline is not a gas. CNG is not gasoline, it is of course a compressed gas.

This must be why the Brits call gasoline "petrol", it avoids confusion.

Hey, make the sign read "Car: No Gasoline" and the initials are CNG!

CNG and gasoline are types of fuel
CNG is not gasoline and gasoline is not a gas its a liquid

Gasoline is one of the products of petroleum after refining, it is a kind of fossil fuel.

CNG or Compressed Natural Gas is a different type of fuel.

CNG and gasoline, though both types of fuel, are different.
