Does the seed refere to the offspring of good and evil?
And is bruise your head when Jesus was killed and the resureccted (Luke23,24:1-10)whereas bruise on the head refer to Rev 20:10?

Or have i interpreted this scripture completely wrong? Any help would be appreciated!

I am studying at the moment but they said that I can't fully understand or appreciate the importance of the scriptures if I don't do some research and find the answers for myself.
I have the revelation, reasoning, insight and the disk to help with doing the research and making me understand and appreciate the prophecy but I wanted to ensure that I had the answer right...

between you and the woman refers to Satan versus God's organization of faithful servants

your seed...( demon followers) and her seed ( kingdom proclaimers worshiping God)

Satan will bruise Jesus in the heal..means it is not a lasting death blow when Jesus is put to death for Jesus is resurrected.

And he (Jesus) will bruise you (Satan) in the head ( when he throws him into the lake of fire meaning total destruction.)

Most JW's Beliefs START With Gen 3:15. This is Because Gen 3:15 is the FIRST PROPHECY recorded in the Bible !

RIGHT NOW Jehovah's CHRISTIAN Witnesses are Studying the Book " Revelation's Grand Climax is at Hand" at their Weekly Book Study

The VERY FIRST PAGES of this Book on Revelation talks EXTENSIVELY about the IMPORTANCE of Understanding Gen 3:15; So that YOU'LL BE ABLE TO Understand the Book of Revelation.

So I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that YOU CALL a Local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and tell them that you would Like a COPY of this Book; AND that you would like to know where AND at what time YOU CAN SHARE in the Studying of it

Best Wishes

Lizzie,if you have the disk, why not enter Gen3:15 and then you will have a list of watchtowers that you can refer to and go through and doing that is a real blessing from Jehovah. He has provided for us an abundance of spiritual food. There is no reason to not be able to understand something. The information is there. You just need to spend some time and research the material you have trouble with.
All the best to you.Jehovah wouldnt advise us to study and meditate on what we learn if it wasnt for our benefit.

Genesis 3:15 is remarkable in many respects. Here it is:
"And I [Jehovah] shall put enmity between you [the "serpent"] and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He [the "woman's" seed] will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel."

Clearly, the "serpent" is Satan the Devil; it follows that Satan's "seed" is anyone who works (knowingly or unknowingly) to further the Satanic goal of persecuting the opposing 'seed of the woman'.

The bible is also rather clear that Jesus is connected with the 'seed'.
(Galatians 3:16) And to your seed,” who is Christ.

Obviously, the Father is Jehovah God, but who is the mother, "the woman" which produces "the seed"? Compare Genesis 3:15 with this passage:
(Revelation 12:1-5,17) And a great sign was seen in heaven, a woman arrayed with the sun, and the moon was beneath her feet...And she cries out in her pains and in her agony to give birth. 3 And another sign was seen in heaven, and, look! a great fiery-colored dragon...And the dragon kept standing before the woman who was about to give birth, that, when she did give birth, it might devour her child. 5 And she gave birth to a son, a male, who is to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod. And her child was caught away to God and to his throne. ...And the dragon grew wrathful at the woman, and went off to wage war with the remaining ones of her seed, who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness to Jesus.

Clearly the woman is heavenly, and in fact Jehovah's Witnesses teach that "the woman" is God's entire heavenly organization, which serves as a faithful "wife" to Almighty God.

Interestingly, Revelation 12:17 teaches that there is secondary component of "the seed" of the woman. Compare that with this passage:

(Galatians 4:26) But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother.

So, "the Jerusalem above" refers also to Jehovah's wifelike heavenly organization. Spirit-anointed Christians make up that secondary part of the woman's "seed". Interestingly, Satanic agents have continued to persecute these anointed Christians since the very beginnings of Christianity.
