Many Puerto Ricans that grow up in Puerto Rico usually stay there and don't come to U.S. Myself personally is only to come to the states every so often and stay for a short period of time. Why is Puerto Rico so lovely for us Puerto Ricans?

I don't know what you're talking about.

Where I live there's MILLIONS of PR's!

That never stepped foot in Puerto Rico.

So technically they aren't puerto rican lol.

Puerto Rico enjoys some of the perks of being an American state, without some of the responsibilities. The people seem to think it's a good deal, as they have voted against both independence and statehood. Guess you know a good deal when you're living one.

I work with a number of Puerto Ricans, remotely - they work there, I work here in CA - and some of my co-workers have gone there, and always return saying what a nice place it is.

Maybe I'll visit some day, too.

There are alot of Puerto Ricans in NY! Puerto Rico is a US territory ( NOT A STATE). Economy is good ,weather, beautiful beaches and lots of tourism. Been there twice and I would trade my cold weather, Cascade rocks and lakes to have a piece of paradise!

Last I heard the US spends 4-6 Billion Dollars to keep US employers there, so there are decent jobs. Also, the US spends a few more billion dollars on welfare and food stamps in Puerto Rico, so why come to the US, climate is better.
