Great lovers, great cooks, great friends. But that's about all.

Which kind? Those who choose not to believe in God because there is no more proof for it than for the Easter Bunny?

Those who respect Freedom of Religion?

Or those who have a religious belief, despite lack of any proof, that God cannot exist?

Those who wish to suppress everyone else's Freedom of Religion?

It covers a lot of ground.

Being a patriot, I support freedom of religion, including those of the no-God believers.

However, I'd rather make friends with the atheists who are better educated and well-read, who are patriots, first, who don't have this need to suppress everyone else, yet have no need to believe one way or the other. It's a non-issue with them, save for a pleasant way to spend some time with hypothetical situations (as would discussing unicorns).

Atheists, like many groups, cover a lot of ground. Some attack no one. Some attack Christians. Some attack any religion.

Substitute another word for "atheists" and you have virtually any group on Yahoo!

They're human. Glad they're here. Glad they have free speech. Ready to answer them when they get silly about it, just like any other group can on an individual basis.

If you sequentially number the letters in this pangram "Pack my box with five dozen liquor jugs" with the numbers in the Fibonacci sequence, starting with P=0, A=1, C=1, D=2 etc...
then assign the value of the numbers to each letter in an atheist's name, then add the first two values, subtract the third, add the fourth and so on, through the whole name, you get the total number of moon cycles the atheist will live. Swear to God.

Alot.

But you are going to pick the good cook great sex answer not matter what anyone puts.

And really there is no way anyone could answer this question, because like anyone else atheists are a diverse group and Christians need to understand that.

(to bad alot of atheists on this board don't realize this is also true about Christians when they make sweeping generalizations)

Like someone else mentioned, I don't really judge them as a group. I have a couple good friends that are Atheists, or if pressed Agnostic. But in general I think they are intelligent, analytical people who place a high value on science and the known world.

I've known atheists all my life. I have nothing but nice things to say about many of them. I know many people have negative thoughts about them , just as when the find out I'm a "fundie" they make assumptions about me. I bet if some of the folks in here knew each other in real life, they might be friends.

They fart. I do know that.

I'm sure they have all sorts of ideas. The general thing is that they don't believe in a god(s) or goddess(es). Hence the name, Atheist.

They are not all the same. They are human beings. They claim to not believe in God. They rely on their own intellect and strength rather than that of a "higher power." They are loved by God anyway.
