Because it's part of your overall health regimine. You either do it, or regret it for a very long time. After you have been doing regular exercize for about 6 months, you will begin to experience "runners high." It's a great feeling caused by an increase of positive brain chemicals. You feel like you can take on any challenge. That's the pay-off.

So get off your flat part and shake it out! Hup, two, three, four!

I personally had a problem with step because I felt like a total spaz - coordination is key with step, which I lack! I switched over to rpm class (aka spinning/bike) and also do yoga. I feel more confident plus great results.

Maybe there is something on TV that you do not want to miss.
Maybe your friends are doing something fun and you want to go with them.
Maybe you would rather be answering questions on Y!A.

You probably forgot how much more energized you feel and how much better you sleep after you exercise.
Good luck with that.

You didn't overdo it and maybe give yourself negative reinforcement regarding the class, did you? Your step class will make you feel good and energized.

Any exercise is good for your heart, good for your soul, good for you. You need to keep it up if you can.

Get a buddy to go with you so you can encourage each other. Set up rewards for every week that passes, etc.
