G-d chose the cross.. and thats what it is.

I wouldn't think I could improve it.

I think it is perfect the way it is. As a symbol of great love, great power over darkness, and the fufillment of a promise.
Also power over death, the Trinity, Truth, and I can even see the resurection in it.

It is complete as it is.

A heart. The heart is the universal symbol of love. Whenever Christians are proselytizing they talk a lot about love. But right-wingers can profess to be Christians and still use words like "terrorist-lover" as curses. If the heart were the symbol of Christianity, the idea that Christians should turn the other cheek and love their neighbor would be easier to get across. And the right-winged pundits would be RUNNING for the door.

I wouldn't change anything. The Cross is Most Important!!!

1 Corinthians 1:18
"For the preaching of the CROSS
is to them that perish foolishness;
but unto us which are saved
it is the power of God."

umm nothing can really top what God is, he said not to make carven images of anything of the heavens nor the Earth, but if I were to choose I'd have a door with Jesus by the entrance holding the keys to his fathers kingdom in his hands, OR a doorway with the thorny crown they put on his head when they made him walk carrying the torture stake(cross) over the entrance.,but defently not a cross or anyother torture thing killing our saviour.

NONE! The Cross represent's God's power, because it signfies salvation! God bless.

"For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." 1 Cor. 1:18

An amorphous blancmange shape to represent God, you could make some interesting pendants, headgear etc.
Or a small mirrored-glass box or cube filled with some sort of smoke...smoke and mirrors.

I don't believe in God, but I would choose a circle. The center is everywhere and the circumference is nowhere.

I'm not Christian, but knowing about them, I'd say maybe a 3 leaf clover to symbolize the Father, Son, and HolySpirit.
