Take whatever you plan to drink yourself, and something for your host.
Do you know if they like beer or wine?
If you can find out, take whichever they prefer ( a six pack of beer or a bottle of wine is pretty standard).
Best wishes :-)

Sun tea, which is a jar filled with water and 4 bags of tea. At least that's what I would bring because I make the best sun tea. My secret is using frozen lemonade instead of lemons and sugar and be sure to allow 2-4 hours brewing time.

Ask what's on the menu. Wine would be appropriate for grilled staeks, chicken, fish, etc. (i.e. something more upscale) but beer would be more appropriate if the menu is burgers and hot dogs. Also, be sure to bring plenty for everyone.

Ask the friend who invited you. Tell them you want to bring some beverages, and what would they suggest. Alcohol or non alcohol, soda, diet soda, etc.?

Ask your friend what they need and bring that. If they say nothing, just bring what you like to drink so at least you know there will be something there that you like.

If you have to ask, the answer is nothing. The host of a party, by definition, provides everything.

You can make your own wine coolers to bring. All you need is ice, raspberries (my choice) and white wine. Toss in blender, mmmmmmmmm.
