As a christian I believe in loving your neighbor (not in a lustful sense...)

I believe you should feed the hungry and clothe the poor.

I believe you should take care of the world that YHWH gave you to live in.

I believe we should be responsible with the resources we are blessed with (animals, trees, the earth et al)

I believe that a lot of people have a decent sense of what is right and what is wrong.

I believe everyone deserves love. Even the most despised person deserves love (though I admit it is hard to do sometimes with some people.) It is the human thing to do...

I believe that a lot of people have good ideas (not just christians)

I bleed red just like everyone else on this planet.

I cry tears like everyone else on this planet.

How about Buddhists, Pagans, Muslims, Atheists, etc. anything in common?

Yeah I can agree that it would be hard to love someone who tortured, raped, someone I loved. It would be very hard to forgive them. So there is another similiarity - we all face difficult things in life.

OMG! I think you achieved the impossible! Never before have I seen a question posted in this category where nobody (at least at the time I am posting this answer) had a thumbs down! Congratulations and thanks for bringing up those good points!

You know man. I wish more people talked like you. You and me are on the same page. To many people try to categorize and separate use instead of appreciating the differences. And there is one common factor in all religion and that is if you read them properly the preach the word of peace. And I think everyone should be able to agree with that.

We are all human beings, and should be treated as such, not treated badly for religious differences! Did you know that the majority of the Christian holidays derived from that of Pagan ones? We have lots of similarities, but we just have to respect eachother! Thank you for posting this question!

Christian here, and your list is RIGHT ON. If we could look beyond the parameters we set for ourselves, I'm sure we could find that ALL of us, regardless of race, sex, religion, or sexual orientation, have got a lot in common.

atheist here

i believe in most of the things you mentioned. the only thing i disagree with is that everyone deserves love. i promise you that if a perverted sadistic creep tortured, beat and raped you mom/daughter/sister/neice....you WOULD NOT love them. and you would be angry and disagree with anyone who did love him.

I'm a Christian too, and I love your list, and your thinking.

Other thing we all have in common:

We are all loved by God.

We are all guilty of sin.

We are all forgiven for our sins.

We are all responsible for the planet on which we live.

We all need food, clothing, shelter, love, and clean air to breath.

None of us are perfect.

God Bless!

The golden rule is in many faiths/philosophies...but ultimately we can only agree to disagree and respect/love each other. Agree?

We are all human, have hearts and are breathing :P

Once you get past the labels, that's really what it comes down to.
