How many of you are tired of seeing this question? I'm a Christian and I believe you have every right to be here. Is there really no way to explain the difference between religion, and spirituallity, to make this question stop showing up?

I don't think so. With newbies showing up everyday, this type of question is here to stay.

I say we sit back and let them fight it out to the same conclusions we oldbies have.

And in the meantime try to remain calm when we see these questions. Maybe even use them as an exercise for our sense of humor.

We are here primarily because we question things, Christians don't. They simply accept what they are told without even a shred of evidence. It's lazy.

If they made one ounce of effort to study comparative religion, philosophy, cosmology etc. then we would respect them much more.

If, after that, they were still convinced that Christianity was the way for them then I would be the first to respect them. Unfortunately, they make no such effort, so is it any wonder they are regarded as poorly educated, gullible people?

Explaining the difference between religion and spirituality has been attempted but it does not seem to work. This question will always be here multiple times a day.

I was away to have a go at you before I read!

I agree, everyone has the right to be here. Everyone has an opinion on religion. And spirituality.

I think some people will never learn...

refreshing question
thank you
keep spreading the love xx

spirituality can be anything that makes us feel whole as a person
anything that makes us feel connected to each other
Atheists can be as spiritual as any religious person , sometimes more so with no dogma to follow that perhaps stifles true spirituality
however sometimes religion and spirituality work nicely together

I'm sick of seeing. Considering as people type in that question there are similar questions that pop up. All they have to do is click and stop annoying everyone.

And here I was, ready to unleash the fury of words on you for asking that question again!

:D

*drink*

As long as people are free to say what they wish, then this question will be here! (And no, I'm not advocating censorship or a fascist regime before anyone jumps down my throat!)

There needs to be an FAQ (f***ing annoying questions) for things like this to be posted in for everyone to read when they come in to R&S.

The explanation goes right over their heads.

Just like if you tried to explain Fullmetal Alchemist to me. (I'm more of an Evangelion girl.)
