i need to know because i dont want to pay $50 for bestbuy to install my car stereo for me!

There are different ones depending on the type of car and if it's a factory or aftermarket stereo. Usually they're called removal tools. I'd call Crutchfield and get the wiring harness while you're at it.

The tool is called a removal tool. If it's a factory radio in a ford, mazda you should be able to find the tools at Wal-Mart. If it's not Ford or Mazda. Then you'd probably have to take it to Best Buy or remove the dash yourself.
