I do like to see and hear different points of view. Whats the point of asking a question if you dont want to hear different ideas? I might not agree with the answer, but I respect anyone who takes time to think about it and write an answer.

Well, let's just put my opinion this way;
What's the point in asking questions if you won't accept answers?
In other words - when someone agrees with your point of view, you're not really looking for an answer, you're looking for confirmation. That means you're not asking a question.
I like to see a different point of view - that's exactly why I ask questions at all. Or, just simply because I need to know the answer.

I like to get answers from anyone from different perspective. When one encounters a situation, you might view only from ONE perspective, or from ONE reasoning.
Asking different people gives you different point of views.
My personal driving force behind asking questions(being curious) is to individually investigate the truth. Sometimes people might say onething, and if you feel it is right it is right. If you feel the need for more information, thats when I ask questions. TO SOLVE Ignorance, Lack of knowledge, Know about someone/something/someplace, I ask questions.
Only way to solve the ignorance, fear of unknown is to ask questions(and see how you feel about the answers you get from the questions you've asked).
Let the Truth set you free. There is no harm in asking questions, that is the sign of growth of your knowledge and your life. Best of luck. Hope this helps.

I'm asking to get a right answer, so I'd look for the answer that answers my question, whether it agrees with my view or not.
I only ask if I don't know... that's the only point of it anyway.
Peace.

Agreement or disagreement is not important to me.
I figure I can't learn anything if people just say amen to a point of view.
A different slant on things, for or agains,t is helpful.
Respectful and well thought out disagreement is very valuable.
And shallow echoes of things we all have heard a thousand times, even if they are in agreement with my point of view are particularly annoying.
Thank for the opportunity to voice my opinion.

I haven't asked many, but i don't mind differing opinions. That's the whole point I like to see the way people think.
However, I don't appreciate people who are disrespectful about it.

No. I want all of the answers - I enjoy getting every ones opinions even if they do not happen to be the same as mine. I will listen to them and try to understand them. Sometimes I can even learn something from them.

To see if there are others who believe as I do. Sometimes I really do just have a question that I have no idea about.
