Teh Father is God, the one we worship as such. Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are part of the Godhead, so,they can be called God. But, we don't worship them like we do the FAther. Jesus taught His disciples to pray thus; "Our Father, which art in heaven...".
Paul said, in Corinthians, that there are gods many and lords many, both in heaven and earth. But, FOR US, there is ONE God, our Heavenly Father, and ONE Lord, Jesus Chist.

Mormons believe God is the Head God, and makes Little Spirits in Heaven to be Real People. He has co-workers, but they're in other galaxies or dimensions.
Jesus is the Son of God, born of Mary Knocked up by God, and was actually the creator of the Other Stuff God already made 'spiritually', like dirt, animals and germs.
The Holy Ghost is the Mysterious One, the spirit that makes you 'feel good' knowing that the Time Share Vacation Package you just bought is really true because it's headquartered in Salt Lake City.
The Devil is Satan or Lucifer or the Deceiver, and Brother of Jesus, and who actually had a better 'plan of salvation' and everyone knew it.

God is "God the Father"
Christ is the son (however he's also our spiritual father, as he saves us from sin).
The three together make up the Godhead. They are perfectly one and unified in purpose.
How do you explain that at Christ's baptism, God's voice was heard, and the holy ghost descended? Why would God refer to himself as "my son" instead of "myself"???
Are you catholic? If not, why do you accept their definition of God?
Have you asked God about this matter? Sought his help spiritually in understanding the truth???

They believe the Father is God, the only God they worship, Jesus is his only begotten son. They believe in the Holy Ghost as well, he serves as a sort of spiritual leader, if you will, an inner voice I think.

God the Father is the one whom we worship. Jesus and the Holy Ghost are also Gods. The bible states this and so did Christ and apparently he was about to be stoned because of it.....
Psalms 82
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
John 10
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
