When was the last time you had a really good time without committing some kind of silly "sin?" I don't think that rape and murder are cool, obviously. But what bout all the stupid little sins that they make a big deal out of? Drunkeness? Lust? I mean seriously, how is it any of your business (or "god" for that matter.

If it doesn't hurt anyone it can't be unethical, enjoy your life.

I don't think sin is awesome. And the Bible doesn't say that drunkeness is a sin, only that it is foolish. The last time I got drunk, I was miserable for 2 days with a very nasty hangover. I have not been able to stomache even recreational alcohol since. Getting drunk is fun, the effects are not. I can see why it is foolish. :)

Lust, well, I work in the mental health field, and you would be surprised at the number of people that the therapist can ask the husband when he started using porn (or whatever) and the looks of shock and "how did you know" that ensue. Lust usually comes out in sad effects on the marriage. If you're not married, then your future marriage if you do not learn how to control yourself (it is not the thought that is bad, it is the dwelling on that thought. You can't control your thoughts. Just wanted to clarify).

If it doesn't hurt you or anyone else (and sometimes it does in ways that you can't see), then I doubt it is a sin. It also says in the Bible that "everything is permissable, but not everything is beneficial."

I don't claim to be Christian, however I find your reasoning flawed. If there is a God I'm grateful to him for my lusty wife who believes with all her heart in Jesus. (For those who object to my calling God "him", it is because I know that only a man would have made a woman like her) Drunkenness does hurt someone. At the very least the drunk, but possibly others who are harmed while he is in an inebriated state. Find some other "little" sins to have fun with.

Wrong.

Drunkenness does cause a lot of harm. It kills the drunk's brain cells and causes cirrhosis of the liver, as well as kills many innocent people in car accidents if they drive under the influence.

Sexual lust can spread genital herpes, AIDS virus, syphilis as well as unwanted pregnancy that could lead to abortion. Fornication and adultery can happen as well.

Food lust causes harm by causing people to overeat and become obese with all kinds of illnesses because of the weight.

Sin is transgression of the Law, active/passive rebellion against God. There is no such thing as a little sin.

I am a big fan of sin, no doubt about it. For some reason Americans seem to be stuck in the Puritan age where if something makes you smile it must a be a sin. I do think they make an exception for gluttony, though. Always stay away from all you can eat buffets Sunday at lunch time. Besides having really crappy food you will get trampled by the folks getting out of church.

On the contrary, I think sin destroys all that is fun and enjoyable. Lust ruins marriages and relationships, drunkenness destroys lives...I have more fun now then I ever did before I gave myself to Jesus. In fact, as all people who are stuck in habitual sin, I was depressed and angry. It's freedom from sin that causes raw & real joy in my life.

"Sins" don't exist in my life. I know what's good and what's bad; I know what will make me guilty or what will **** up my life. I don't need some brainwashed people telling me I need to feel bad for living. I don't need them to tell me how to work out my mistakes. I got me.

Just one mans opinion: I disagree.

But enjoy living your life however you see fit. I'm one Christian who isn't going to badger you with the whole "wages of sin" spiel.

Just remember, you can still have fun, while keeping your sin to a minimum. I do it every day.

Definitely enjoy your life, but don't do bad things on purpose. Lots of enjoyment can be had without "sin."

Why, as a matter of fact, yes it is! I'm having a great time with it. In fact, I'm practicing adultery in a stolen car and drinking my sixth 151 and coke as I type this!

I disagree . yes we all commit sin because we are imperfect. but it is not good to comit sin.. it is turning away from GOD! On the last day of our lives you shall see HIM and maybe HE will punish you for turning away from HIM. and for accepting the invitation of hell!
