Breast milk should be refrigerated immediately after being pumped for best results. In the refrigerator it is good for 48 hours. In a freezer that is part of a fridge it is good for 3-4 months. In a chest type freezer it is good for 12 months.

okay breast milk is good for 48 hours if u refrigerate immediately and u can freeze it up to six months in any type of freezer.

if stored in an appropriate container and frozen immediatley, it is good for several days.
