People in this part of Y!A needs to relax more?
Life is short, why get so uptight?
I believe being a christian is the way to go.
Someone else believes there is no God.
Some people believe in Allah.
Some people believe in nature.
Some people believe in
Why use this area to bash something else you don't believe in?
Why not keep your questions to things that really interest you as opposed to spreading an agenda. (I guess I broke my own rule just now... ;-) )
I mean sheesh, the earth is beautiful, enjoy it, take care of it, be at peace.

And you say you're a christian?! Wow. Miracles still happen. I already lost any hope of finding a tolerant, nice christian here on Y!A...
My compliments.

I agree with you totally. I rarely go to this section because I get tired of the useless bashing and illogical fanaticism. If you want to preach, just live your life as you feel is right. The only sane way to educate is by example. If it is attractive to others, they will follow. Otherwise, I think people are on here just to argue. That's not attractive to me.

i originally joined this section so i could learn from different people and about deferent religions. i was mainly interested in pestacosal religion because that is what my husband is and i was trying to understand were he was coming from but all i found is that most christens preach a lot about going to hell and that most people are intolerable of others religious choices so it became a place to debate. their are good people here who just want to chat and discus religious questions but for the most part.......i guess its life.

some people really take things here very seriously. like it's a competition of sorts.
what these competitive, self-righteous people fail to realize is that they aren't really "winning" anything, as much as they like to believe they are
i guess some people are too close-minded to see that some people might actually believe something different than them. horrors!
i agree. we all need to sit back, and chill.

I agree. One should ask questions that actually interest them instead of trying to "get your message out". Because quite frankly if we want a spiritual talking to, we go to the nearest religious place, and get it there. We don't need it here.

Point well taken. A lot of folks in R&S really do need to relax and take this stuff less seriously. I'm one of them. Working on it.

Life is eternal. Being a Christian is the best way to go. " The fool has said in his heart there is no God." The Bible isn't an agenda.

I was told by a Christian that there was no need to worry about Global Warming or ecology because the Rapture is quickly approaching.
