It seems to be a mix between Basset Hound and Corgie. I say this because of the paws and face it seems to be a Basset Hound (Hush Puppy). The paws are big, like a dog used to dig, and the Basset Hound was used to hunt rabbits or sometimes to take out foxes of their dens. Due to this, this breed developed some pretty big paws that allowed them to dig, have good equilibrium and also to run. The pads seem to be a bit thick, which is because their paws became used to absorb shock when jumping, etc. Also the legs are a bit too long to be of a pure Corgie.

The face seems a bit sad, even though it may be pretty happy. This is a characteristic of the Hush Puppies when looking up at you that way. Their eyes somehow seem to reflect deep sadness.

The ears seem to be of a corgie, always perked up and attentive at any sound. The body and tail also seem to be those of a Corgie. The body is a bit fat, and seems too big to be holded by the legs. The tail is sort of longish, and it's down, corgies sometimes have the tails down, or sometimes Basset Hounds.

I'm pretty sure its a mix between those two breeds. I would recommend to maybe give it a bit more excersise, maybe 20 minutes or so of extra excersise, or if you don't walk it at all, about 1 hour every day, divided into two 30 minute walks. Other thing to keep your dog in good physical condition would be to maybe get it a freesbee or a ball.

Good luck!

I have to agree with the others she definately has some Bassett Hound features and also some of a Corgi which is the first thought I had when I looked at her pics. She seems to be a bit overweight but very cute indeed!

Kinda hard to tell with no standing pics, but the dog looks like a corgi/beagle cross to me. Color is common in both breeds, the corgi would have supplied the shorter ears and the beagle the longer legs. She looks very well fed...I mean loved. LOL

Added: So should we name it a beaorgi, or a coreagle?

That is a Welsh Corgi mixed with a Cocker Spaniel, or Spaniel of some sort.

Ok, this will probably make you laugh. My dog looks very similar to this one. I adopted her while stationed in Guam. They are called "boonie dogs." In plain english, a mutt. I wanted to post her picture on here, but it won't let me. Oh well, you get the idea. Anyway, she is an awesome dog, very affectionate and I don't regret giving her a home!

It looks like the body of a brittany spaniel and the face of maybe a collie. His parents had to be mixed.
