exactment!!
theres NO logical argument to counter your point. if mary did in fact give birth to a boy named jesus, it's cause she was having sex with joseph, or somebody.
there are other illogical things in the bible starting with adam and eve. basically the bible says god created the entire universe and everything in it in a weeks time, then got bored and created man and woman, then cain and abel were born....they grew up and one got jealous of the other, hence the first murder happened.
as punishment got sent the murderer to a far away land and in that far away land he met his wife......now...it doesn't take a genius to figure out that til that point only 4 people were on earth, and one of those is dead. so how the f**K can the outcasted son find a wife when one hadn't been born yet.

Sex is not sinful in and of itself.
When man perverts the sex act it becomes sinful.
We have no idea exactly how God managed to conceive Jesus in Mary's womb, so it would be inappropriate to even try to speculate on the matter.
We do know that Jesus was in fact, truly man, even while remaining truly God.
And since God by nature is totally incapable of committing a sin, sin would not be of any concern regarding either the matter or the means of the conception of Jesus Christ.

Sex is wonderful as it was created by God. It only becomes a sin when it is abused, or in other words, done outside the bounds of what God intended. So any sex outside of marriage (pre-marital, extra-marital, homosexual, etc..), and anything that sterilizes the act (contraception, surgical procedures, etc..) is sinful.
The question of how Mary was impregnated is deeply theological. I would highly recommend reading the book "Theology of the Body for Beginners" by Christopher West, for the answer. Suffice it to say that Jesus was both human and divine, so God did not have sex with Mary, nor did Jesus have any gene problems.

Sex between a married man and woman is not a sin. God did not have sex with Mary. God caused Marry to get pregnant without the help of a mans reproductive contributions. It is a miracle. If you don't believe in God than you probably don't believe in Miracles.

God being purely spiritual, cannot have sex. It would be ludicrous to think that God impregnated Mary like a normal human being would do. Some mormons do believe this though (I think). According to ancient, traditional views on this issue, God, the master of creation, by some miracle, caused the birth of Jesus. It is a mystery, therefore the exact dynamics of it are unknown, but it did NOT require a sexual act. In the catholic tradition Mary remained a virgin all of her life as the pure vessel of God.

Who impregnated Mary? Whoever it was, it wasn't a god, or one of his ghost surrogates.
One certainty that a new participant here learns almost from Day One is not to trust anyone who answers a question regarding religion with a verse from the Christian bible. A remarkable aspect of our time on this little blue rock is that, after all these decades and centuries, educated human critters still see the bible as a source of truth. It only took one reading of Genesis for this cotton-mill boy in the Deep South to know...to know...that it was mostly fairy tale, myth, lies, absurdities, and expressions of the fears of Bronze Age nomads, who saw lightning and decided an angry invisible god was after them. Chaps, we have been on the moon! And you're addicted to another scientific achievement, the Internet! Holy smoke, it's the 21st century already!

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 . . .What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom.. . .
Sex is not a sin adultery is, and fornication is a sin. Sex is a gift from our creator for married people. If a marriage bond is broken, both you and the sex partner are guilty of adultery.
Joseph was born a sinner due to Adam’s sin. He was not qualified to be the paternal father of the perfect man Jesus Christ.
Imperfect Mary would not have qualified to act as Jesus maternal mother either. Therefore, Jesus Christ’s perfect embryo was placed in Mary, by Holy Spirit.

First of all, sex is not a sin. Sex outside of marriage is a sin.
And God did not physically have sex with Mary. He simply made it so she could get pregnant. It was a miracle, not able to be explained away using examples from present times.

Sex is NOT a sin. God created sex and He is Perfect, Perfectly Holy, Righteous and Just. Sin is disobedience to God and God cannot disobey Himself. The first institution that God created was marriage, when He created Eve using Adam's rib. Sex was designed by God to be between a husband and a wife for a number of reasons. God commanded Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply, so clearly, procreation was part of it. But, I believe that sex between a husband and wife brings us closer to one another and to God, in that it is very intimate, a time when both husband and wife are joined together as one. God desires an intimate (not sexual) relationship with His children and the love act between husband and wife mirrors this intimacy. And, I He designed it to be enjoyed. Listen to this from Proverbs 5: 18-19. In Proverbs 5, we are being warned against adultery and sex outside of the marriage bed. "May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe, a graceful deer -- may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love."
All of what I've said speaks only of sex WITHIN marriage. Sex outside is clearly sin. In the Old Testament, adultery was punishable by death for both parties. In the New Testament, in Matthew, Jesus gives instruction regarding adultery. From Matthew 5:27-28 "You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has committed adultery with her in his heart." God sees not only what we do, but what is in our hearts and thoughts. We are given another warning in 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither FORNICATORS, nor idolaters, nor ADULTERERS, nor HOMOSEXUALS, nor SODOMITES, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." I don't know how God can be any clearer than that.
As far as God impregnating Mary...God DID NOT have physical intercourse with Mary, although there are many who would try to convince people otherwise. In the Old Testament book of Isaiah 7:14, there is this prophecy made with regard to Christ: "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel." The name 'Immanuel' is not a name, like we consider names such as Joe or Steve. It's a statement of who the person is that bears that name, almost like a title. Immanuel literally means "God With Us". The New Testament records in Matthew 1: 18-25 the birth of Christ and verses 20-23 of that passage show the LITERAL fulfillment of the prophecy in Isaiah. The virgin birth of Christ is real. It is unique in history, never to be repeated. It is a miraculous event and it is the reason why we can have hope, because if Christ were born simply a man, then He died as a man unable to redeem ANY of us from our sins. Fortunately for us, He is not just a man, but the living Son of God.
I hope this helps.
God bless

Just as these folks have said sex is not a sin unless outside of marriage. However God did not have sex with Mary. Yes babies are generally made through intercourse. God didn't have to have sex to create Adam and Eve and He didn't have to have sex to create Jesus. He's God!God bless!!
