What is this nonsense some Christians try to push about choosing to have gay or straight sex about anyway? Why don't you choose yourself if you are that versatile... I know what is right for me, that's gay sex in a loving gay relationship, but what's your choice? Why would anyone choose what didn't have any attraction for them.

ncangel89: I suggest you haven't done sufficient research into Biblical context to make that statement, it is far from obvious what these ancient scriptures are condemning, probably pederasty or temple prostitution but there is no way to decide. The Biblical and social context of the time these things were written is all important.

I do not necessarily think it is dumb but whatever way you put it it is still your CHOICE. You can choose to do what you want in your life, I for one do not think you should be judged for it by anyone other than God. I just pray that Jesus with reveal Himself to you and show you all the great things He has for you. Sometimes the things that make us feel the best in life are the things that are the worst for us, just because things feel good do not make them right! God bless you!

the idea is that God MADE people "straight" (in Leviticus, you can see that when he forbids being gay - in flowery terms) since He made humans and made them straight (and WANTS them to stay straight)...it follows that when you find a gay relationship attractive - you CHOOSE it to be so regardless of whether you believe it to be "natural attraction" or not; since He made you, he made your natural impulses (which should be toward being straight).

when you give up your own natural, God-given sexual desires to follow those that are not natural to you.
God makes people straight and gay...if you are straight is a sin to have gay sex...if you are gay it is sin to have straight sex...
