I would recommend that you do not quit your job right away. I also recommend that you find a way to continue working and start looking at other options.

I believe that it is important for you to shift your perspective about the job. Whatever has made the job stressful, it is very important that you find a new way to look at the situation.

What do you enjoy doing? What do you feel like you don't get to do as a result of this job? What issues are unresolved for you in this situation. Take your eyes off of the people, the projects, the environment, and start looking at what you do have control over.

You have ABSOLUTE control over how you respond to the people, the project, the job. Look for opportunitities to laugh rather than to get angry at whatever is going on.

If none of this helps, start looking to find another job opportunity. Do it right so that when you do leave the organization, you have no regrets.

Good Luck!

As a Human Resource Development professional, I have a couple different thoughts on this. First, I think that if you do like the pay and the workplace you should probably talk to your manager or HR department about some career development plan so that you can continue to grow throughout the same organization or you could also find other jobs internally. Second, if you really dislike the job and the workplace, and you are really not developing as a professional anymore than maybe perhaps it is time to make a change. Because you have already learned enough about your current position, maybe you should think about applying for jobs that will help you take a step up and assist you in developing yourself and your career goals. Although the pay is important to keep in mind, you should also keep in mind what you enjoy doing and what kind of career goals you have and go from their to find a new job that will match your needs. Good luck!!!

Generally I think a person should stay as long as possible with a company. I would be reluctant to hire somebody with a spotty work record. If you worked other places for a pretty good length of time and this job just has too much ********, then look elsewhere. I would try to find a find legit company before you leap. The next company can be as bad as the company you are working for now.

If your not happy you'll never be. That's how I was on my previous job. Chances are you will be messing up on the job and the last thing you want is to ruin your record by getting fired. Quitting isn't good either but better than them firing you. I would start searching for other jobs in your area. Make sure to give them your two weeks notice and your good to go.

You first have to take into consideration if you really need the money. If you do need the money stay there until you find another job. Start going on job interviews etc.

If you dont need the money or have money saved. I say quit. Life is way to short to be stressed out over a job. You only get one life, live it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have resources to live off of while you search for a new job. Yes. Quit. Now. If you don't, start looking around. I find that when my job frustrates me just the action of looking for another one, feeling like I have control over my future, makes me feel a lot better. Good luck!

Only quit if you have another job lined up. No body likes to be broke or not able to make your bills, so think ahead and be responsible. Most people don't like there jobs but they don't go out a getting fired or quiting for the heck of it.

First take any holiday you are entitled to and look for another job. If you get another job lined up, then quit. Leave on good terms with your employer so that you don't get trash references. Whatever you do, don't moan about your job when you are at work, or everyone will talk about you and the boss will hear about it. Good luck, job-hunter.

You should quit before your dislike for the job begins to show and causes you trouble, because then you might get fired, making the decent record of two years at one employer hard to cite on your resume or next job application.

I always think it's a good idea to have another job lined up before you quit your current one. You never know how long it might take you to find a new job.
