Sweetie, got to Jacob and talk to him directly. Tell him you want him to be with you and that you really like him. His friends will only get you in trouble with Jacob. Good luck and don't forget about your school work!

Well, it sounds like you're more mature than Jacob and his friends. But, still 12 is too early for a "boyfriend," isn't it? I'm pretty old and I don't have children, so maybe I'm out of touch. But, in general it's hard for boys that age not to be controlled by peer pressure. If he thinks his friends will tease him if he shows that he likes you, he might not have the courage to do so. But, maybe you can find a way to have lunch together sometimes or to study together. But, if you're 12 and Jacob and his friends are 14 years old, you should be very careful and always talk to at least one trustworthy adult about how you feel.things related to Jacob are going and if you feel sad or threatened by him or his friends.

You want Jacob to say he likes you to your face but you can not say it to his? It's unfair to expect someone to do something you yourself can not do back.
I realize how big all this is to a 6th grader when communication to crushes happens through friends but I'm not exactly sure what the question is? Tell Jacob yourself that you like him and explain that the note wasn't meant for him. Don't rely on your friends or his to pass the message, it will only cause more confusion (obviously).
You're trying to skip a grade? Honey, don't rush through life. It already flies by so fast.

I would approach Jacob personally and tell him I was sorry if the note got to him accidentally. There's always going to be confusion when friends get involved and she said that he said that you said...you know what I mean? So you can tell him yourself that you're sorry without having to say anything about your liking him. Who knows? He might ask you outright if you like him and you can get the courage to say you do!

This is ridiculous haha not to make your life sound trivial but come on hun. Stop telling people things through their friends. It never works out. You are in 6th grade. I hope you are good at taking advice cuz you are gonna get alot from people. You really should say i have better things to do but I do understand you want to be in a relationship. Talk to him and not his friends

A rule of thumb, don't form any opinions on what he might say to his friends. He's probably embarrased about the attention. What u need to do is find a way to get some alone time with him and maybe u can get a better gauge about his true feelings.
My suggeston is finding his myspace or email address and corresponding that way.

haha i remember that sort of drama , just talk to jacob and dont use his friend to pass messages besides at that age guys and girls are immature even though we believe we arent. Just talk to him and then things will fall into place if they dont work out then dont worry about it because later on you will meet a guy that is worth it.

I really tried to come up with a good answer, honestly. I am not trying to be mean or funny, but I got a headache just reading that and I am so, so glad we only have to go through that age once.

I only have one thing to say to you sugar.
Do NOT, and I repeat, do NOT discuss your relationships or affairs of the heart through a third party!
Is that clear?
