Why is it the pc police want to restrict Christians, but lift up every other religion or cult?

I don't know if I believe that's ENTIRELY true. I think that the intentions of the people who are trying to be politically correct are honorable enough, but it gets far fetched until instead of prosperity and happiness for all, it causes confusion, frustration, and whining about who's not getting their way, or who's not treated as well as the next one, till they're like bunch of kids fighting over who gets the last red Popsicle! I think that the intentions of our founding fathers are being assaulted and chopped away continuously by this,and because there are no ground rules, there are no limits. If someone(namely WE!) doesn't put their foot down pretty soon, we're all gonna wind up being led by a bunch of self serving left wing loons, and we REALLY don't want that! So in that respect, you are dead on!

I think you need to consider the fact that Christians are the majority in the country. How "hurt" or "restricted" can a religion be when most vacations are structured around its holidays, and the majority of the political leaders are members of its faith?
The compassionate, Christian thing to do is to reflect on how you can reach out to people of other faiths and help them feel more welcome in America.

I blame much on the ACLU (Anti-Christ Liberties Union). They try wipe out religion everywhere.

Libs are the biggest hypocrites around. I love how they preach tolerance but demonize, violently attack, and prohibit individuals who challenge their worldview. Homosexuality is a protected "lifestyle" in that you can be convicted of a hate crime for speaking out against it yet nobody hears about the fire bombing of clergyman's homes in San Francisco by gays. Kids are being intimidated and censored in public schools for mentioning God, Intelligent Design, Abstinence, and anything anti-homosexual or pro-abortion. I'm sure glad they're so tolerant though or Christians would probably have it alot worse.

You've got to be kidding. It's the Christians, as much as anybody, who are foisting unwarranted political correctness on the public. They institute silly sexual taboos, try to have books banned or restricted, promote blind nationalism, and attack any source of critical thinking. Granted, the far left liberals can be just as bad, but the radical right is much much worse.
What we really need is more moderation and some common sense.

mind elaborating on this?? how are they restricted and how are others uplifted?? also, the christian religion have put down and marked all other religions as 'evil', so wats wrong with a bit of uplifting for the others!!

Sad that a group of humans can be controled that easy by being politicaly correct. and everyone has that feeling of pain!!!
Sucks but i would highly recomment taking control of your life i'm not staying anything about your faith continute on with it it's your right! but geesh stand up for who YOU are and TAke that next step and Control the one thing you can YOUR thoughts and emtions! hard yes but what isn't hard!

I disagree with political correctness. It teaches everyone to be thinned skinned. It has nothing to do with anyone religion.
