One is in the gas tank...one is along the frame like under the door ..easy to replace..

Usually about 2/3 of the way back, inside the side rail, near the fuel tank.

Go get the maitenance manual for your Explorer as your obviously a DIY type. They have specific instructions, pictures, and time estimates. It will become one of your best friends as you keep your Ford on the roads and skip paying the high labor costs for any dealer maintenance.

inside frame rail under drivers door (inside of frame) It is a small tin looking can It has a metal shield over it,and a gas line coming from either end.
