Nothing has been past regarding immigration bill. Yesterday was just to keep it going. Which is good, longer it stay open and in the public eye more see the problems and know what is in and not in the bill.
Yes, if it does in the current form and not to the best of this country. First off none of the provisions other then giving a zcard will be enforced. In 20 yrs they have done nothing to enforce either the 86 Amnesty bills or 94/96 immigration bill.

Question: if no one stop at a stop sign and nothing happens if your catch running it do you really thing putting in 2 or 3 more stop signs will make a difference?

That is what our gov't does pass bill but doesn't enforce then then thinks we should pass more.
They either think we are stupid or they are. I know I'm not.

Many Americans are waking up to those fact that is why people are getting real unhappy with our gov't.
I sure wouldn't want to be in any of their shoes it could get dangerous.

If you're talking about the Amnesty Bill, it hasn't technically passed, yet, put it has cleared the last hurdle in the Senate, so the opposition no longer has a chance of stopping it, there. Since there's no chance of a Presidential veto, that leaves the House. I can't say I have a lot of faith in our representatives, though, so chances are excellent it'll pass.

Once passed by both the Senate and the House, it'll go into comittee to 'reconcile' the two versions, at which point it will be hammered into whatever shape the closed-door committees wanted it to be in from the begining.

Funny thing is it won't change it, immediately, it will just continue or maybe slightly accellerate it's current decline.

If the illegals are granted amnesty, then they might be able to bring their big families into this country. All of a sudden, we could have 50 million illegals. In 50 years, this country could look like Mexico.

Not yet! I keep praying that it won't. I think our country has really lost sight of what is important in this world and the illegals are not it! There are more illegals than just Mexicans, BTW. It would change our society drastically forever. I'm so against this thing that I can hardly believe it! All illegals are such cowards and pukes! I'd rather feed crocodiles! It'd be easier to teach them English, too!

the words illegal and Mexican aren't interchangeable
some illegals aren't Mexican in fact a lot come from Central America but b/c they"look Mexican" and speak Spanish they can be confused as

and some Mexicans are legal immigrants[my parents] or are born here[me]

You sound ignorant. This bill isn't just for 'mexicans'-it's for anyone outside of the U.S.

If the bill passes, America will cease to exist.

Still trying to convince some "it's not about race"? Have not heard too much, only one thing today so far. I see no change.

LOL...No, it hasn't passed.

Even if it makes it through the Senate (which is doubtful to begin with) it would have to make it through the House and they are the ones who have to answer directly to their constituents and be re-elected every 2 years.

I don't even want to go there if it is passed because it will be the final nail in the USA's coffin and the North American Union will be able to finish being created.
