what do you do if you have a burning nose?

i am sick. and my nose is burning like hell...what do i do to stop it?

Burning because your nose is running? Or just burning?
First, gently pinch it shut for one minute [ this decreases stimuli to nerves ]
Second, get a Qtip and some vaseline, and coat the inside of your nose. [ You may have a raw area in there, and the vaseline will block the inhaled air from irritating it. ]
Third, don't use any nose drops or sprays until your nose heals.
Fourth, use a humidifier if you can.

Vaseline, seriously. This is the only serious posting I have ever made because I hate when this happens!
