i ate at an italian resturant on monday night can i eat the leftovers tonight? are they still good?
i had chicken fetichini alfredo and broccoli

its been in the fridge since i got home from the resturant.....also the resturant is 45 min away from my house

the reason im asking is because i really wanna eat it because its good but im one of thoes if you dont eat it the next day throw it away.... so i was just wondering the "offical" life span of the left overs :)

Almost anything that is fully cooked will last a week in the fridge.

Sure, as long as it's been in the fridge. I get a little weird about it on the third day though (tomorrow) and throw it out. So have at it tonight! Sounds yummy!

They say three to four days. Any longer and you're risking a bacterial infection. The fifth day is questionable, but as the saying goes, "When in doubt, throw it out."

I would say about six months to a year if you're lucky! Nah, I'm just playing. I wouldn't keep my left overs for more than five days.

they should be perfectly fine, but in order to find out, sniff it... if it smells ANY different, toss it. food borne illnesses can be living in scents.
