Currently,
Isaiah 53:4 Surely he has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains ... by his bruisedness [brokenness] we are healed.
KJV 'griefs' and 'sorrows' is a mistranslation; using the more metaphorical translations of the Hebrew words choli and makub, that apply when dealing with abstracted situations; here its dealing with a man so the normal meanings are appropriate.
Interestingly the 'carried' and 'borne' verbs are used in Isaiah 53:11 and Isaiah 53:12 of the same prophecy where it says that the man prophesied would bear our sins.
I'm interested in healing - this prophecy in part pretty strongly states its part of the atonement that Jesus incarnated to provide. Getting faith for it is hard though.
(Galatians 3:13 etc is another major part of this understanding - Jesus bore the curse of the Law - curses due to disobedience - which in Deuteronomy 28 includes all manner of disease. We receive the blessing in Him as believers.)

My favorite Bible verse is John 10-27-30
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.
I like these verses because they reveal the divinity of Jesus.

One verse by itself, being alone, generally leaves out most of the truth being told.
I do have a section of verse, which demonstrates to me the basic truths of the matter. It shows the relationship of father and son, the aspect of the spirit, and the necessary love and accompanying obediance.:
Joh 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Joh 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Joh 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Joh 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Joh 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Joh 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

My Favorite bible verse is:
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4.Love is patient, love is kind. It doesn not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5.It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7.It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves.
I don't know why, but I really like it.

Trials and tribulations come with both a purpose and a reward. "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him" (James 1:2-4,12).
"...I will never leave you, nor forsake you; therefore I can boldly say, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not fear what man can do to me" (Hebrews 13:5b,6). Trials develop godly character. "...we exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character, and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us...

Ecclisiastes, the whole book. It has a great story. It basically says that everyone is normal and that things will not always go your way, but that is life and it happens to everyone.

Ezekiel 23:19-20 "Yet she increased her whorings, remembering the days of her youth, when she played the whore in the land of Egypt and lusted after her paramours there, whose members were like those of donkeys, and whose emission was like that of stallions."
I know this is an allegorical story, but it's just so darn sexy!

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Pretty self explanatory.
