If evolution does exist and we descended from an ape-like species and some people look like apes, then how do explain people who look like mice or chipmonks? For that matter, how do you explain people who look like their dogs? Evolution only means "change" of course change takes place, it's changed by altitude, oxygen levels, food sources, etc. That doesn't mean we weren't created by divine power. Even if it did, your argument doesn't stand up very well.

You can't really use humanity as a measuring stick for the effects of evolution. By all accounts, we are controlling our own evolution and we have no master plan as a species, unless you count the Global Eugenics Project.
The real question is: Why are we dumber today than we were a hundred years ago? True, we have plenty of gadgets, but the undereducated are the ones having more children at younger ages than the more educated people. Where will that lead?

Nutrition. Don't let anyone put this over on you, it's not evolution. Evolution works fast: People changed from brown skin to white skin in about 2000 years when they migrated North from Africa, but it doesn't make people tall in the 200 years since America was founded.

We also have bigger feet, bigger penises, a increased tendency towards sedentary diseases than our ancestors though the last point is arguable to nutrition again. The previous two points of bigger feet and penises are not. Nutrition is LEADING to evolution! For example, lactose intolerance in people that did not historically get their nutrition from milk.

Actually, by all reports, we are shorter than we were 50 years ago. But that's only in the Americas for some damn odd reason.
My prophesy: The next guy will mention 'adaptation' and act like it's not an evolutionary process.

Duh...adaptation. That isn't evolution, its adaptation. Now a "scientist" may be able to prove that adaptation and evolution are the same thing. And I may not be able to show any mechanism that would prevent small adaptations from adding up to bigger changes, but my preacher knows what God knows, and that is a lot. God invented the word science from Christ's sake.

they (christians) say it's from better nutrition, but that means we evolved taller because we ate different foods
evolution is a constant thing, but certain circumstances can increase it's rate of change, such as different foods, environments, weather, etc
