yes i know you don't believe in god to dislike him, that's why there's an 'and' in there. i'm addressing both atheists AND people who are not atheists but don't like the god described in the bible.
actually, i'm both. i don't believe in god but i also don't like the god charatcer in the bible. i like morgan freeman

I like Morgan Freeman, but I think after a while some crazy person would end up killing Him, and a world without a God would be weird.
O my God, I forgot, we already live in one! Shock, horror!

I would absolutely be willing to give Christianity another try if God were Morgan Freeman's character in Bruce Almighty. You have to respect a leader or supreme being who is strong and secure enough in his own power to let other's have a taste of it for a while in order to teach!

I think it is silly to think of god as a person. If there is a god I don't believe race or sex would apply. It also doesn't make sense to say Atheists don't like the bible god.. You can't like or not like something you don't believe exists. Defeats the purpose...

You make no sense, it isn't that atheists don't like God, how can they dislike something that they feel doesn't exists? I'm sure if God's existence was proven they wouldn't be atheists and if they were that would mean they are in denial. There is no proof of any God.

Nope. Considering irrefutable proof was handed to me today, I would never be inclined to follow the sadistic, bi-polar, self aggrandizing, do nothing, steaming pile of crap that is the Christian God. I would rather rot in hell than follow an all powerful being who lets innocent people needlessly suffer for his own sick freaking amusment.

No & I can't comment since I haven't watched either movie. Only person I saw play the christian deity on the big screen was George Burns.
