What is the best baby shower favor you ever received. How much should I spent on the baby shower favor?

I got a cute little bag with bath & body works miniatures and then a blue box with baby foot prints on it filled with chocolates! So I had the chocolate going on and smelled good for a while! LOL I think it was the perfect the little party favor...B&B stuff can be pricey though but something along those lines is always a nice treat.

I have been to a ton of baby showers over the past 8 years hehe and I think the best baby shower favor I receieved in all that time was a book of homemade cards in them for different things.

One was a ticket for 3 pictures of my choice (the mother was a picture fanatic that poor kid spent more time getting his pictures taken than anyone i know lol)

One was a ticket to spend the day with mommy and baby

One was a ticket called "Mommys day out" where I had to find a baby sitter for my friend so I could drag her out away from the baby lol (that was fun).

I dont remember what the last few were but they were all to benefit my friend but at the same time they were kinda cute hehe, she gave one of those booklets to everyone who came to the baby shower and I think within the first year most of us had used them all lol.

The best favor I have ever received was just a few months ago, it was a candle with a little note attached that said s/thing about lighting this candle and saying a prayer for ......(baby's name here) the day the baby is born. Sorry I can't remember exactly what it said, but I thought that was pretty neat, Of course I had to keep the candle out until he was born to remind myself to light it that day but still pretty cool

the lady that help my shower for me had old toilet paper tubes wrapped them in wrapping paper , tissue paper and ribbons filled them with confetti of my choice and small party favors and candy each one had a number in it so at the end of the shower we called a number and the person with the number got the door prize then we had number coded smaller prizes for the rest of the numbers so that no one was left out I loved it
oh we also kept them in a decorated basket
the whole thing was inexpensive and fun to do
everyone liked it you grab both ends and pull and it pops and confetti flies everywhere
another thing we had a seperate set for the kids that was there!

So much fun I still make them for birthdays and whatever I can find an excuse for

i've went to several baby showers and never received any favors. At one if you found a plastic baby in your cake then they gave you a set of stuff from bath and body works.

i love to throw showers, for the favors that i give when the gals win the games is some little soaps, bubble bath, or lotions from bed bath and beyond or vic secret. sometimes i put a little candle in with it! i have always been told that people love it!

Hi, The best thing i got was stuff i needed..ie: diapers,baby gear,ect.. I loved ALL my gifts but i really loved the things i could actually use..try seeing what her style is and get something along those lines with a practical gift with it.

Like a outfit..with diapers..
