Well, this one time, I was looking for my car keys? And I found them.

Yes, I have had God answer prayers. The first prayer I remember praying and God answering was when I was 16. The previous year I had cracked my tailbone in gym class when I dismounted from a balance beam. Gymnastics was going to be the focus of gym class for a portion of time during my junior year. I was scared about it. I prayed that God would get me out of it or give me the strength to deal with it. I never told anyone about how I felt about gymnastics, except God. I had gym class the last period of the day. On the day gymnastics was to start, I was in Spanish class, the period before gym. I was called to the office. My mother was there. She told me I had to get a blood test for mono since they had just found out my brother had it. Well, the blood test indicated I had a mild case, and that I could not do extra physical activity..no p. e.
After gymnastics was over, we had a phone call from the doctor saying the blood tests had been mixed up and that I never had mono. I knew God had orchestrated it all. I certainly had no control over this, and even my mother didn't know about my fear.

particular, numerous circumstances. i'm going to furnish you with an occasion. it is an Italian custom for Catholics that whilst they bypass right into a church they have not been in before, to ask for "3 desires." I hadn't heard this before being in a sparkling church with an Italian buddy so I figured i could supply it a shot. i individually did no longer believe that God could choose for 3 desires, so i desperate to "try" him. i do no longer remember what the 1st 2 have been, however the final became to get my dad to conclusion eating. He'd been eating all my lifestyles at that factor (i became in my late 20s) and forty years supply or take. He in basic terms drank beer, for people who think of you won't have the ability to be an alcoholic in simple terms eating beer, and that i in no way, ever in a million years figured this could ensue considering God could want my father's cooperation and that wasn't possibly. 3 years later (so it could take time), my father fainted from too lots beer and not sufficient of numerous different issues and his surgeon informed him if he took yet another drink, he'd die. He hasn't had one considering, went chilly turkey, and that became 1990. God jogged my memory of that wish or i does not have remembered that the two. particular, non-believers won't think of that's a miracle or an replied prayer, yet to me, that's a miracle!

Oh, I've had lots of prayers answered. Sometimes It's not the answer I was hoping for, but hey, ALL things work for the good of those who love Him and who are called to His purpose, so I'm not sweatin it, lol

I have. One of my mom's friends was ill with a condition that was trying to take her life. I prayed with her as well as my mom and our intercessory prayer group--and she has been healed. She gained back all the weight she lost. She couldn't comprehend nor talk.and my Jesus restored her back! Don't believe if you want to, but I know about the Power of God!

When I was six years old I prayed to win the spelling bee.
I actually did, but I have a natural aptitude for language, so I don't think it counts. Still, it was fun to wish back then.

The voices in my head said "feed the squirrel strychnine"....
My prayer was answered in the old biblical fashion.
Edit. Oooh, I'm gunna catch it now....
Shame, shame on that God fella for clogging up that plane's fuel line in the first place....that mortal must have been a BIG sinner if that God fella wanted him to crash.
See how it works? You believe "God is responsible" for the good things and the answers to your prayers, but ignore "God's responsibility" for the bad. Hypocrisy in motion...

first off, i'd like to state:
God IS NOT the reason that bad things happen. they come, and He is there as a correct answer; all the things that go on in the world that are evil don't even put Him into the equation
but to answer your question, yes i have... and honestly, i would prefer not to talk about it in the mindset i'm in (with the whole Chris Benoit thing, it's really easy to upset me now... he lived in my hometown and i knew/met him)

each and every day!
from finding lost items.... to healing of illness/injury... to peace when most people would freak out.
When my son called to tell me that my husband had radioed him from his plane saying the engine quit, and to come find him when he put the plane down... I got on the phone and called everyone i knew that would seriously pray. we never even called emergency crews, because i knew in my heart that God would carry us thru this... and after searching (my son in 1 vehicle and i in another) for 45 minutes, my husband called from a farmsite saying that he was ok, where he was, and to pick him up. his plane was traveling 160MPH and ended up crashing into trees (including a link to a pic of the plane after the crash)... not only was he safe, but he was unhurt.. not a scratch! God had carried him safely thru and delivered him back to us!
