I had a much harder time bringing home baby #2. I couldn't figure out how to juggle it all. Going from 2-3 was easier as I had learned some tricks of the trade. Three is a wonderful number.

Hi, well i have three kids and it is not easier but still not any harder..still have a hectic house..but that's one of the many perks of having a big family!.It also depends how far apart the kiddos are..mine are 8,4,2..so they do pretty good together..the 4 and 2 year old fight a lot but that's because they are both boys so that kinda comes with the territory. I think when you have two kids already the only thing i would think of is financially could you afford another child?..good luck:)

I found at the beginning it's always harder when you add another child into the family, but just as you've established a routine with the two, you establish one with a 3rd and since you have the experience of doing things for more than one child, a third is a little easier. Plus they can entertain each other as they grow older and free up a lot of your time.

The hardest thing about having the 3rd child is that the world is set up for a family of four.

Once you have a family of five--you have a harder time finding a table at a restaurant, a hotel room for 5, even the car you drive needs to accomodate more!

Would I have kid #3 again? Yep...anyday!

Good luck with your decision.

Actually for me the transition from 2 to 3 was the hardest. I don't know why but it just suddenly seemed like I had more kids than time, money, food or energy. After that each additional child was a piece of cake.

How could it be easier?
you have:
1] more expenses
2] more child care [ feeding, changing, bathing, cuddling ]
3] more mess - more toilet training, more dirty clothes, more toys, more school work
4] more car pools - 3 kids in one sport or activity each!
5] more school activities - help with homework, conferences, PTA, room parent, parties
I could go on and on.....
Have a third child because you want one, but be realistic about it.

All I know is it was certainly less chaotic around here with 2; the third one tipped the scales!
