I swore I'd never do it, and I don't do it for payback, but rather out of neccesity....I lick my finger and wipe smudges off my 1 year olds face sometimes.

I try not to do what my parents used to do the only think I do as payback is to tach them values and be strict when I have to be so they will not jump on me ... other than that I try to do things fun & more than a mom I try to be their friend so they will have freedom but not liberty ( if you know what I mean).. :)

I had to do math worksheets in the summer before I could go out and play. My kids also are "pushed" in math.
I am now an engineer.

ha I do it to my brother - time out
and it feels so good to tell him to do it "because I said so"
