When I drink water or eat fruit I get this fizzy feeling on my tongue similar to drinking a very strong carbonated drink ( maybe a soda). I share foods with others that don't experience the same feeling. Can someone tell me what is wrong with my tongue?

It sounds like an allergy. For the fruit, you could be allergic to pestisides or naturally ocurring enzymes. I'm not sure about the fuzzy tongue after drinking water, but I definitely have some fuzz-factor myself after eating peaches, kiwis, strawberries, etc.

Talk to your doctor; s/he may be able to test you for allergies. In the meantime, avoid those foods, and rinse with an antiseptic mouthwash after eating/drinking anything that causes the sensation.

you might also have a bit of oral thrush, is your tongue very red? your gums? at any rate, would be a good idea to consult your doctor.
