Religion or God? Religion is man-made and is evident all over the world. God is a fact proven in His Word.

Religion exists. That is a fact. The fundamental beliefs of religions are neither fact nor theory. Religions are nothing but simple, stylized rituals for simple minded, frightened children to help them keep away the boogey man and explain away those things they cannot yet understand.
A theory in technical use is a more or less verified or established explanation accounting for known facts or phenomena. The proposed "truths" of these religious cults are far from verified or factual. Simple common sense tells you the claims of these religious cults are preposterous. But on the other hand, they do have the argument that GAWD made it this way. So I guess they have a point. Hmmmm.....

Which one? That statement is too all-encompasing. It's like saying 'is science a proven fact or a theory'. Which part?
But in short, no religion has ever offered evidence that it is any more true than any other religion, so none are facts. And none fall under the scientific definition of theory either - although maybe under the philosophical definition.

It's neither a proven fact nor theory.
Religious ideas are faith-based. The definition of faith is the belief in something without proof or reason. It comes from a spiritual awakening (that may be very real, but it isn't "proof").
Religious ideas are not theories, because they are not explanations of phenomena that are subject to testing and observation and to be changed or discarded with the accumulation of more data. They aren't theories because theories are meant to change and be discarded based on contradictory observations. Religious beliefs don't do that.

Actually , I think there is a problem in the way you have made the question. In other words the question itself is not correct.
You are asking about the religion which is a " spiritual" thing by using a materialized terms " fact / theory''. I mean you are using scientific words to ask about something can not be proved scientifically. It is only proved by the taste the believers they find find in their soul.
Yet, we can find a way out for this "terms problem" by reshaping the question in a way that will still give you the answer you want.Your question in somehow asking " Is religion true or faked". Of course I will not go in details about which religion we are talking about. I will continue about religion in general.
As you know we can not catch religion, I mean there is no "material" has a specific shape , weight ..etc called religion. It is something we can not see or touch. So how we should know about it??? Simply, like wind, by its effect. So if you met a religious person crying from his fear from his God , that means that there is religion in his heart. If you see believers in India goes to a river and swimming in it that means there is religion. If you see the believers in Vatican every Sunday , they have religion in their heart. If you see Muslims fasting one month and going to spend one week in Makkah and its around , away from all the comfortable live they might have, then there is a religion. It is proved by the effects we see on the believers.
So, for the people whom do not believe in any religion, they can not simply understand this. Because they did not taste the religion in their heart. That is why they think about religious people that they are stupid . Moreover , they are thinking about religion in scientific based manner. They want to see something to believe in it. This is against the concept of the religion. You believe in God without seeing him. Any other things vary from religion to other. I mean how much you have to believe without prove.

Religion definitely exists. That is a proven fact.
The tenets of each religion, however, are just in theory. There is no way to empirically validate any particular religious belief, tradition, ceremony, or practice.

I don't believe there's such a thing as proven fact in the purest sense of the word. Only mathematical things can be proven absolutely. As far as other things go, we just have varying degrees of faith in them depending on wether or not experiments and our own experiences agree with them. Every model and concept is at least a little bit wrong and at most completely wrong. This includes concepts of God as well as scientific concepts.

No religion is proven or provable. Nor is any disprovable; all religions are based on a belief in supernatural phenomena, to which rules of proof cannot apply because such rules are based on the premise that natural laws exist.

It is a man-made construct which was relevent in the days when little was understood about the world and how we got here.
Now it is totally irrelevant and is seen as nothing more than a book of myth, half-truths, misinterpretations and downright lies.
Unfortunately there are lots of gullible people who will not question it, and this is partly why the world has become such a dangerous place.

Neither. A theory has to be falsifiable. There's no way to prove god does or doesn't exist. Religion is the fairy tell people believe because they are afraid of death.
