The Sheriff of Williamson County Tennessee has been arrested with 1000+ pills (oxycotyn) which he obtained through illegal perscriptions. What should happen to him? He touts his distain for Drugs on the county website?

A sheriff has obligations and responsibilities just like a judge or Reverend of a church. It is a duty as well as an honor. To disgrace that position... his embarrassment and hypocrisy alone should make him resign; and of course he broke the law so he should go through the same process he has put other criminals through and at 1000 plus pills, I would say that is a little more than a misdemeanor!

Although this is an older story in the news....you do bring a point home....if the sheriff did wrong....he deserves to pay the price!

Well, that's the same drug (oxycotyn) that made ole Limbaugh deaf. But neither the doctor shopping or nor the actual procession of the non-prescribed drugs slowed down Rush's career. Something to think about.

haha if ur in a po dunk county nothing will happen thats police corruption at its finest if nothing happens call the attorney general of the state the MIGHT do something but very unlikely

He should be fired and charged the same way anyone else would if they were caught with that many pills. no special treatment just because of his job!!!!!!!!

He will most likely be suspended pending termination. Hopefully, if he wants to, he'll check into rehab.

They should be tried to the fullest extent of the law.

Noone should abuse drugs.

Everyone should be really nice to them.
