Yes. I am reminded of a time years ago when the sister of a friend of mine died suddenly at age 40. I felt terrible about it and on the way home from the funeral, a little bird hit my windshield. I was immediately reminded of the verse that says something like a sparrow doesn't fall to the ground without God's knowledge (Matthew 10:29). It was a comfort realizing that God knows what's going on and has reasons for everything He allows to happen. I've had some other "signs" too, but mostly answers to prayers in the form of impressions of what to do in certain complicated situations. God is still guiding us. Psalm 32:8.Remember, the sign will always line up with God's Word, the Bible.

I get them all the time, but it's usually shoves, turns and twists. Once God made me turn my head to the left and I saw this girl and after 3 1/2 years I'm still not sure why he brought us together, limited as that situation is. We are similar in some things and polar opposites in others. Some things I do she laughs at , some things she does I laugh at. She's an apocolyptic rapturist born again christian libertarian with a right to keep and bear arms sticker on her car. I'm a trying to understand and follow Jesus type person who doesn't subscribe to organized religion and tries to avoid a fight, certainly not one with a gun. When we sit across from other religious people and there is a debate I provide paraphrase answers, she qoutes scriptures and finishes my sentences. Ususally while she's engrossed in doing something entirely different like writing a note to someone not there. This is just one of the many situations God has let me walk into blindly, without a word, just a turn of my head to see the mop of hair on her knees doing hard work and I said, who is that person working so hard. I must find out more. Then I spend two weeks trying to place a face and name with the hair, but her hair changes daily. Eventually I figure her out and eventually she calls me over to her table and starts a conversation.

Wouldn't signs or path-guiding be forms of control that go against your idea that your God gave you free will?
Like rats in a maze. They can smell the cheese at the exit so they are being guided. They haven't completed the maze with their own free will.

Are your "signs" supported withing the framework of the Bible? We have all the signs we need to know who Jesus is. It's time to put away laying a fleece or looking for a star in the sky and trust Him. Jesus is the Way, follow His path and you won't need to look for anything that might be outside His will for your life... Jim

We have the Bible, God's word, to guide us through life. God does not speak directly to people any more, nor does his provide "signs" to help us.
God does answer prayers. Other than prayers and the Bible, there is no "direct" communication to or from God.

Nope. Never did. Don't believe a god exists, either.
Things happen. Coincidental things, like my latest "fan" being from Holland, Michigan, a tiny town I used to work in twenty years ago. It's not a sign from anywhere or anyone.
