the canned chilli does contain other things, including fat. Suggest you look for "red beans" or "kidney beans", they are generally canned in just water. They are in the legume family and so are fit for vegetarian consumption.

That is one of the stupidest diets there is. You are only going to lose muscle and water. When the body does not get the right amount of energy (Calories) it will store fat as an emergency energy source and allow the body to use muscle as it's source of energy. So you are losing what you want in your body and keeping what you don't want. There are a million gimmick diets out there. Why don't you try eating right and exercising.

Eating just veggies and fruits is not a good way to lose weight. You have to add some protein. Add a broiled chicken breast at lunch, a couple hard boiled eggs at breakfast, a piece of fish at dinner.

I'd suggest talking to a nutritionist, who can help you figure out a healthy, balanced diet with foods you enjoy, that will also help you lose weight. Some carbs are good carbs...it's just the enriched white bread / white flour that's totally evil. :)

Good luck!

Well, you could make your own chili and instead of wheat flour use a gluten free flour. Check your local health food store for alternatives. :)

Yes those are a vegetable. Are you getting enough protein and calcium on this diet? I sure hope so.
