How do we know that the bird loves Jesus? Perhaps the bird is mistaking a tree for a god.

I swear sometimes you people are just aiming to make my head explode. How the hell could you possibly conclude that a small bird, incapable of speech, is capable of loving Jesus. Further, can a small bird love at all in the same sense as humans? I can understand them having a biochemical response that could, on a rudimentary level, be called love since they are flock animals. You are taking anthropomorphization to new levels with this one though...

Love for my mom to read this question. When I was a kid, she always told me that when my pets died, I'd never see them in Heaven because animals don't have souls. Now I have someone saying that a small bird loves Jesus. Well, I can only hope that animals DO have souls and that one day I'll see them all again.

A bird has a brain the size of a grain of rice. They are not capable of any emotion or thought.
It is because I have a large brain that I am able to say that there is no evidence for the existence of God or Jesus

A small bird is far more capable of biting me and/or crapping on my windshield than even having a vague idea or concept of Jesus.

Because I have a larger brain than a small bird so can make reasoned decisions for myself, instead of just being trained to do things like the bird (and many christians) is.
