I used to love that drink!! I would get that when I used to go out but they would always serve it in such a tiny glass I could drink those all night!

Puor 2 parts amaretto, three ice cubes and one part sour CREAM in a blender for 40 seconds on chop, and serve in a LARGE glass.
Actually, make two just in CASE a friend would like to share one with you.
If you both don't get a buzz, you will surely have fun.

Easy enough!
1 1/2 oz. Amaretto
Fill glass with Sweet & sour mix (Frozen lemonade in a can works good too)
Shake
and serve with cherry
another variation is an Amaretto Stone Sour
same recipe as above but add a splash of Orange Juice
it rounds out the flavor

You make an Amaretto Sour the exact same way you make a Whiskey Sour or a Brandy Sour. None of the recipes above are correct. In a blender, not a shaker, pour one and one half jiggers of Amaretto, add two ounce of unsweetened lemon juice; add one teaspoon of powered sugar. Blend for two or three seconds. Pour into a rock glass over ice. (if they order it straight up, then blend the ingredients with ice). Garnish with a toothpick thru a cherry and a slice of orange.

When I bartended we made it like this...
Fill the glass with ice:
Pour in: 1oz amaretto and fill the rest with a sweet&sour mix (you can buy these at any liquor store)
Top it off with a cherry and that's it!

i just bought amaretto liqueur and some sweet and sour mix.
mix it according to how strong you want it. add ice.
