20 or 30 years ago the secret service stopped having the old limos into the museums, due to secret technology used to protect the presidents. not sure that is the president who worries what is he going to drive in.

I once saw this on public TV - the President uses a fleet of 30 limos custom made somewhere in KY or OH under supervision of the Secret Service. Limos are shipped in advance to destinations where the president visits. Limos are constantly recycled because the average life span is less than 4,000 miles.

With all the top-secret stuff that is implemented in today's Presidential limos. I assume they destroy the old limos.

the old limo gets parked in my drive way and is undergoing some cleaning and a new paint job... the new one is only used once... because he makes such a mess! they have to replace it.

I assume that he just orders it. The old ones may wind up in a museum somewhere.
