That wouldn't be a problem because the Bible itself speak about the earth being round. Remember, the men that wrote the Bible were inspired by God. He told them what to write.
"It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth," Isaiah 40:22
The Hebrew word Isaiah used for “circle” is the word khug, which means literally something with “roundness,” a “sphere.” But, of course, the people of Isaiah’s day thought the Earth was flat. And that was the concept of the many generations of people who followed Isaiah.
Later, it was discovered that the Earth was not flat; rather it was a khug (circle). Isaiah had been correct all along, even when the people of his day emphatically stated the opposite. How did Isaiah know the Earth to be a sphere? A lucky guess? No, the writers of the Bible were inspired by God.

The Bible was written by different people throughout history strong in God. The people who peiced these different books together were also influenced by God..
Come on. If I were God, I think I could cause what I wanted to be in my life instruction manual.

How could it be? because the Bible says the world is a sphere spinning in nothing. You need to get out of the house more and go to a library.

Wonderwall, what you've got to realise is that the religious zealots (whatever religion) will say one thing until they are contradicted by proof - they will then say that is what they meant the whole time!
The bible is FULL of contradictions - read it, I have and I'm not religious, it's just so ridiculous it's hilarious.

Why don't you read for yourself the Old Testament wherein it clearly indicates that Earth was a sphere (not flat).
The flat ideas came out of the minds of people, not from Judeo-Christian scriptures.

Cite, please, your source. The Bible was written by about forty different men, all of them Jews. Nowhere do they say the world was flat. Indeed, they speak of the circle of the earth.

It is something I'm sure they would have said.
They also believed that the Earth was the centre of the Universe and that the Sun went round us..
