We are afraid of commitment when there appears to be a claim of ownership. The kind that leaves you no choices for the next 20 years with some woman who seems wonderful dating and then turns into a married hateful ball & chain.

Guys are more emotional than girls. Pride is the biggest emotion for a guy, verrry close second is jealousy. We are jealous and need to be told all the time that we are number 1 and you love us and don't ever want to be with anyone else, then let your actions prove it. We would have no reason to be jealous, and pride would not stand in the way of a relationship!

Some guys r afraid of comittment so they pull away...some think they will look like a sissy tied to a grl so dont take it personally

Me myself I afraid of commitment. I'm young and I just want to date and have fun. Women always try to put labels on things and try put a dude on lock down when he just wants to date. That's why dudes pull back stop pressuring us to do something we don't want to do.

men are not the only ones who do this. a lot of people think that when they get closer things are getting good, while others start to feel smothered.

because they are afraid of getting attatched or maybe they were hurt in the past and dont wanna go through it again.. just talk to him and let him know ur feelings and tell him u'll always be there for him... guys no matter who they are will always be insecure of themselves. so just try and talk things out

Girls do the same thing. It could be fear of commitment, or fear of the unknown. Alot of them are just plain assholes though. That goes for both sexes.
