This is totally normal for a kid in this age group. Two of my three kids did this routinely until they were 8 or 9 - especially the left handed one - and they are now all three grown up, graduated from top 10 universities and Doctors. They never had any special treatment, or any special privileges. But if you are worried, most schools have a reading specialist who you could talk to.

Of course, we are all concerned about any potential problems with our kids - that is just a sign of a good parent. But it is also a sign of a good parent to be responsible and not go into a panic the first time a kid is a little bit different from what we think is "normal."

To set your mind at rest, check with a trained, certified specialist.... don't believe the scare comments of anonymous nobodies on Yahoo!!!!!
