Yes. Earthly rewards. I don't know anything about after life because I have not been there and don't know anyone who has. But if you truly know yourself you know that the relationships in your life are the most important thing to you. These are the source of 80% of your happiness and sadness. And when you realize that the best way to nurture and maintain relationships is to respect yourself and respect others around you, you will do lots of good things.
This may seem selfish, but is this any more selfish than one who does good because they're afraid of going to hell.

I think yes, but even to those who think no, it tends to be contagious and its quite likely that because of the contagious nature of goodness, it will come back to you.
