I have a 14-year-old son who is mentally handicapped and functions on about 4-5 year old level. He his starting to go through puberty and often has an erection when I bathe/change him, which I know is normal for all kids. But recently he has become more sexual and has actually had an orgasm and ejaculated while I was bathing him. I know this is a normal biological reaction, but I'm afraid I'm going something wrong and he'll grow to associate me with these feelings. I'm nervous about consulting professionals because at this day and age I might get taken for a child molester. My 15-year old daughter also helps take care of him, but now I'm nervous about this happening while she is bathing/changing him. Sorry if this question bothers anyone but I just dont' know what to do.

You need to speak to your child's physician who can best tell you how to handle this situation. What is going on with your son is very natural, and a professional doctor would not think that you are a molester because this happened.
You just need to know how to deal with this, and your doc is best capable of telling you how.

Stimulation is a very normal event in young boys. Personally, I experienced it at quite a young age and am more and more convinced it's all part of nature. Is it possible for him to bathe himself over the "sensitive" areas and for you to help him with his hair or back, for example (in other words, to possibly reduce a reaction)? Otherwise, don't worry; young males go through this in their development.

sounds like its time to get dad or hire a male nurse to do the bathing and changing him
