Being on the basketball team and having the nickname "instant offense" because I was the best player on the team but the coach hated me so I never got to start. The best part was when one of the starters got in trouble with an English teacher, he was suspended for one game and the coach still wouldn't start me. So I quit the team and they lost every game for the rest of the year.

My freshman year, I could have taken AP English, but decided to take regular english, just so I could hang out with my friends every morning. The teacher was really lax if you had all your work done, so, basically every morning we could all just sit around a chat and wake up for our first hour. Sometimes, she would even say that we didn't need to come to class if we had everything done, so sometimes we went out for breakfast before school. That was pretty sweet. Oh, and cordinating oru schedules together, so every single class I took had one of my three best friends; if not all of them.

In Chemistry classes those who finished highest in the exams sat at the back, 1st, 2nd and 3rd together then 4th, 5th and 6th and so on in rows of six. From starting Grammar School in 1958 to leaving in 1964 I was top every year so always had the back seat in the laboratory. One day we were doing a simple experiment, making carbon dioxide out of marble chips and hydrochloric acid. I was bored, as were my companions. Behind us was a cupboard with all the dangerous chemicals in it. When the teacher wasn't looking we filled our flask with stuff out of the cupboard, concentrated acids etc. Suddenly it erupted and the mixture shot out of the flask and hit the ceiling which, before our eyes, began to rot and burn, forming a large hole. After the teacher sorted out the mess by spraying it with an alkaline solution I was marched off to see the Headmaster and given six of the best across the backside with his toughest cane. I never did it again!

For now? I had an English teacher who was very prissy, strict, bitchy, disrespectful, and always right. I kept my mouth shut in her class most of the year, read what I was told, did my homework, and dreaded every day going to her class. Then she tried to tell the class that "a lot" was one word "alot". After a pretty heated discussion of why I was about to go to the office another kid pulled out a book from another class that specifically explained why "alot" was not correct. The teacher apologized, and never mentioned it again. She was a little easier to deal with the rest of the year!

The biggest fight for me. Some football player was an real asshole but no one stood up to him because he was 6,5 and weighed 250 pounds around there. Any ways he was giving shiit to my friends so I started a fight. Good news is that I won fight and no charges were pressed. Bad news he was still an asshole to every one.
