im looking at an Acura TSX for around $20000 with 30000 miles on it....do you think that price can be lowered...in consideration that the market is low and many people are not buying cars? and its from a private seller.

There is not enough info about the vehicle. Go to www.edmunds.com. You can input info about the vehicle and get wholesale and retail values.
I would only pay up to the wholesale value of the car. You have to buy as is, with no warranty.

You should really do some research on this car. You can use sites like www.kellybluebook.com and www.Edmunds.com to see what the cars worth. You should also go onto sites like www.cars.com and www.autotrader.com and see what they are going for. Also you can go to like Walmart and see there are magazines for local cars in your area that are for sell and see what they are going for and you can then try to talk him/her down on their price.
