Whats so wrong about hitting women?

Why do people hate men hitting women? They want equal opportunities and all that poo so why do people worry about hitting them, women can give as good as they get so a good slap want do them any harm. My mum always stopped with my dad and he gets nasty to her when he's drunk and I always see people dragging there girlfriends home by the hair around my area. I don't she no wrong in it, its just like hitting a man. My dad says women today are to mouthy as they don't have firm men like the old days.

It is wrong to hit anyone, even a man. It is called assault and battery, and it is against the law. Doesn't matter if you are a man or woman. That said, if you are hitting a woman, you certainly are no man. You are a big wuss. Sounds to me like you and your dad could both use some therapy.

My god! When did we go back to the dark ages. Seriously if you think this ok then grab your club grab a girl by the hair and drag her back to your cave by all means. Yes some women can give as good as they get but not all of them and the ones that can only use this to defend themselves when in danger. Nobody has the right to hit another living being and no offence but if you (like most people) do not want to turn into your father then i suggest you ditch this mentality. Women have opinions too and if someone views this as mouthy they don't have to stand there and listen. Just walk away. if you go around thinking it's ok to hit women the likelihood is you will end up alone and everyone will consider you a coward as only cowards hit women. It is well known fact that most serial killers started out hurting animals then children before finally getting to adult female and males. This is a particularly worrying statistic as animal cruelty and child abuse are becoming more common. Think about it this way, if you had a little sister and youu found out that some guy was hitting her would you go totally mental and want to stop this from happening or would you allow her to be hurt and eventually killed. I say killed because if a man hits a woman once he is likely to do it again and again until things become so bad that these are no longer isolated events they become a regular occurence and the recipient of the violence ends up in hospital or the morgue eventually. I hope that if you ever have kids one day that you teach them better moral values than you yourself have been taught. Particularly if you are a religious person. Please do not ever think that violence is okay

You're okay with some brute dragging your mother by the hair, or any female members you have in your family that i HOPE you care about? Here's the thing; I'm a female and I believe guys have just as rights to defend themselves if a woman ever raised her fist or a weapon. I don't think guys should just stand there and take it just becuase women don't have wieners. guys are just as important and valuable as women and I don't think women should have an excuse to do whatever they want. However, it would look very treacherous for a man to punch the lights out of a woman. I'd rather he just either push her down, walk away or better yet, call the cops and press charges. Living with a criminal record is hard, especially being eligible for certain things like a job or trying to start a business.

Well first off this saying that "men shouldnt hit women" is totally outdated nonsense which has been adopted by post modern feminist women and used to their hypocritical advantage really

The phrase SHOULD have been "gentlemen dont hit ladies", because many women nowadays are two faced cowards, they behave like men, live up to the idiotic ladette idealogy and hide behind their gender acting like a poor ickle victim if someone treats them how they should be treated and smacks them one, and with women of that ilk you can see them magically clam up the moment another woman comes on the scene in support of the bloke as then they ARE likely to get hit or hit back whereas most men WONT hit a woman no matter how much she deserves it which is what this cowardly pathetic type of woman relies on

Firstly "PEOPLE shouldnt hit PEOPLE", which also includes women not hitting men, as often men hit women in response to them hitting the man first

So the same thumb rules should really apply to both genders

If you DONT want someone to hit you then DONT hit them first, dont launch into a scathing tirade and personal attack and chances are they wont

If you DO hit someone or launch into a scathing tirade or personal attack on them then irrespective of either persons gender dont be suprised if they smack you one because you WILL deserve it and gender is no defence to anyone other than a brain washed moron


Look at it logically for a moment, society sees violence from someone more powerful towards someone "defenceless" as being inherantly wrong, and is usually how a man hitting a woman is seen

But in a world full of men handicapped by their parents and society at large brainwashing them to the point of them not even when deserved and asked for being able to hit a woman who IS really the bully picking on the "defenceless" person when a woman is either hitting a man who is conditioned to not hit her back or is launcing a tirade that if SHE was on the recieving end of it WOULD hit the person?

Not all scenarios of men hitting women are as the feminists would want us to see them, we dont live in a time where all or even most women are "ladies"

And irrespective of gender you only have the right to be treated decently by people if you ALSO treat them decently

So there is no broad application of whether or not men should hit women, sometimes its inherently wrong and other times its inherently right

it depends on the circumstances, the people involved and what the woman did prior to being hit which as far as I am concerned SHOULD be pretty obvious to anyone who isnt a complete idiot really

WOW! It is wrong! it is degrading! it is unneccessary!!!!..try a test, have someone smack you around everytime you don't agree with what they do or say..maybe you will understand a little more. There are cases where women hit men, it is still wrong..and a REAL MAN does not even think of hitting or harming someone they love. Men and women should protect one another, stand beside one another, love one another and abuse is not included in any of that.

Just because you have grown up witnessing this sort of behaviour at home doesn't make it right. You have just taken it as the normal behaviour when actually it's not. If someone hits or beats up their partner it is all about control. Sadly lots of people carry on the ways of their parents because they don't know any difference. Please try to talk to someone about this and change your mind before you get into a relationship that will fail or end in tragedy.
Wouldn't you rather someone stayed with you because of love rather than out of fear?

i hate equality,your obviously living in an area filled with wife beaters and thugs,the woman can use her mouth,that,s all she has got in her deffence against most men,of course she can pick up a knif etc to deffend herself,that,s if she use it ,she,d have to be pretty strong to fight a man off,you see,99% of women don,t have the strength or muscle a man has,so a man that beats up on a woman should be taken into a room with another man,only twice his strenght and have the ------- beaten out of him,god help the woman that ends up with you,or already has.
